Description

Ferrous Sulfate (Iron II Sulfate) Heptahydrate is a reagent used in the manufacturing of iron compounds, in electroplating baths, aluminum etching, process engraving and lithography, and in redox polymerization. Ferrous Sulfate is used as a reducing agent in chemical processes, leather dyes, and writing inks. Ferrous Sulfate is also a component of weed killers, wood preservatives and water treatment processes. Ferrous Sulfate is used in the prevention of chlorosis in plants and therapeutically as hematinic.
